Class Description
We will be connecting art, texture, and the natural world. Think landscapes made out of fabric, weaving sunsets, felting your favorite scene, and creating characters from nature.
+Introduce students to fiber and mixed-media art forms including felting, sewing, nature elements like leaves, dried flowers, twigs ect.
+Explore nature as creative inspiration
+Develop patience and attention to detail through multi-week projects
+Build fine motor skills, sensory awareness, and creative expression
+Encourage collaboration, self-reflection, and pride in handmade work

Materials Needed: All materials will be provided unless students have something specific at home they would like to use.
