Class Description
Using the books Mini Weapons of Mass Destruction by John Austin, each week we will be building a different “mini weapon” out of such items as popsicle sticks, rubber bands, erasers, pencils, pens, clothes pins and other random items. Some of the ‘mini weapons’ we will be building are Mini Coin Shooter, Clothespin Catapult, Bow and Arrow Pen, Plastic Spoon Spinner Catapult and more including a couple silly targets needed for competitions between the builders. None of the “mini weapons” will be dangerous but we will be using sharp blades at times to carve and/or cut materials.
Class Requirements: Students need to be able to use a kraft knife safely.
Materials Needed: All materials will be supplied.
