Class Description
Math doesn’t have to be a drag. In this class we will be learning math when we make toothpick models of various shapes, graph our class preferences, calculate and pay for groceries, pour water to figure volume, learn how multiplication can be delicious, learn to read and figure temperatures, cut fractions into our playdoh, and more. Each lesson will begin with a review of our times tables and other math facts.
Class Requirements: In order to thrive in the class, attending students need to have a very good understanding of addition and subtraction, as well as a general understanding of multiplication.
Materials Needed: Please be sure your child brings scissors, glue sticks, pencils, and colored pencils.
