Fitness Fun will consist of having fun while getting fit. They will learn exercises that will increase their balance, coordination, muscle strength, and flexibility. It will include things like yoga poses and stretches; circuit training; track and field challenges; strength training without equipment; and lots more. Weather permitting, they will learn the basics of the games of basketball, football, and volleyball. And they will learn some PARKOUR moves and jumps. Each class will begin with warm up exercises, and end with games.
Class Requirements: Participation and good sportsmanship is required of each student.
Materials Needed: Sports attire and athletic shoes worn to each class period.
