Class Description
In this hands-on beginner photography class, students will learn the basics of photography while getting plenty of opportunities to actually use professional photography equipment. No previous photography experience is required!
Students will learn how to use composition, lighting, camera settings, and creativity to take better photographs—whether they are using a professional camera or a phone.
Students will have access to professional cameras, studio lighting, flashes, backdrops, and creative light wands during class. Rather than simply learning about photography, students will spend much of the class behind the camera experimenting and creating their own images.
Class Requirements: Access to camera or phone to practice techniques outside of class would be helpful but not required.
