Class Description
World Geography is a great way to explore and learn about the land around us and all of God’s creation. In this class we will dive into learning about a handful of countries through puzzles, activities, maps, and more. Hopefully throughout the weeks each student will learn something new and might even find it exciting!
If you are wondering what a weekly class might look like read on: We would spend a few minutes talking about some of the basic information of the country. Then, use that information to complete various puzzles of information (word searches, crossword puzzles, and more). We will follow that with an activity related to that country such as a game, art project, or maybe even experiencing a food item from that location. Finally, we will work on a fun map related to that region.
This class is designed to bring fun to learning because, well, learning IS fun!
Class Requirements: Be willing to listen, participate, and have fun!
Materials Needed: All students will need a set of colored pencils or a box of crayons for coloring maps. Other basic school supplies would also be needed (Pencils, scissors, and a gluestick).
