Class Description
This course will be all things fishing!
Learn about ice fishing, fly tying, fly fishing, worms/baits, tackle, knot tying, fish of Michigan, how to catch and hold a fish.
Students will also learn about different rods and reels, invasive species, sportsmanship, and DNR/laws of fishing/safety.
The class will also have the opportunity to go fishing with Mr. Martin at the conclusion of the semester.
Class Requirements: Everyone is required to have fun while learning the basics of fishing, come to class with or without the skills of fishing, and learn a fun activity that can be used by the whole family.
This class is open to any student who will be 9 years old or older by September 23, 2022, and who has not taken this course before. This will be a repeat of prior offerings.
