Class Description
Let’s learn about visual art!! In this hands-on class, we will spend time learning about, observing and discussing works of art from the masters. Then, the students will be guided in creating their own works of art according to the techniques discussed in the lesson! Art techniques will include: drawing, using watercolor crayons and brushes, paper art, and clay sculpting. This class will use additional lessons from the Artistic Pursuits Early Elementary book.

Class Requirements: No previous art experience is needed! Students who took this class last semester are welcome to join again since we will be doing different projects.
Materials Needed: A pencil with a good eraser, Scissors, Crayons, Glue stick. (With the class fee, I will be purchasing additional materials that your children will use for their art projects such as watercolor paper, watercolor crayons, and self-hardening artist’s clay.)
