This class will give students an opportunity to learn more about serving others. Through their time, talents, resources and prayers, they will have the opportunity to encourage others, help those in need in our community and show appreciation to those who serve us. The class will involve a variety of activities, including hands on projects, craft projects and cooking. Some possible projects are packing care packages for the VFW/writing notes to soldiers, making a meal for a family in need, and packing homeless kits for Manna’s Market.
Requirements: Students need to be able to follow directions, have basic reading skills, be able to listen well, writing is preferred but not necessary.
Materials Needed: Pencil, scissors, glue/stick, crayons/markers. Possibly a few inexpensive items to donate toward a collection.
Teachers: Martz, Brodbeck, Erickson, Goodemoot
*Due to the need to provide adequate supervision for our entire program, classes registering fewer than 5 students at sign-up may be canceled in order to allow for appropriate coverage.
