Class Description
This course will cover the following: why we fish, fish of Michigan, rods and reels, invasive species, fly fishing and tying, sportsmanship, DNR, laws of fishing, ice fishing, boat safety, knot tying, worms, rig a pole, terminal tackle, fisherman code, hold and play a fish, tackle box, spin casting, Michigan Man DVD.
Class Requirements: This class is only for those who will be 9 years old and older by September 2021, and who have not taken the class before. This will be the same course that has been offered in the past. Everyone is required to have fun learning about the basics of fishing, come to class with or without skills of fishing, and learn a fun activity that can be used with the family.
