Class Description
Come learn about your classmates in Show and Tell!
Class goals:
Carefully bringing and taking home items (responsibility)
Learning to share something about ourselves through show & tell (bravery)
Taking turns (patience & politeness)
Being able to communicate back what was said (listening)
Asking thoughtful questions & learning about each each other (friendship)
Semester Overview:
Learn courtesies of show-and-tell, and responsibilities around bringing personal items to class
Weekly practice of sharing personal item and practicing listening/asking thoughtful questions
*Some weeks there will be an item prompt (ie: Bring your favorite baby photo of yourself -or- Bring a gift you got from someone special) and some classes will be whatever the child feels compelled to bring
* Will offer snack
Class Requirements: Responsibility for your items- making sure they arrive to class and home again safely
Open-mindedness for other peoples items (no hate, only curiosity)
Willingness to share about your item and answer questions
Materials Needed: ONE personal item to discuss per week
