Class Description
Students will progress from learning the basics of robotics, to coding and completing a final, pre-determined robot mission to display on Presentation Night.
In the past, this class was offered as an opportunity to code your own projects. This semester will be more structured with formal lesson plans. Class fees reflect the more structured nature of the class, and support the purchase of a second kit.
Class Requirements: Students should be able to work on a team to complete assigned tasks, at times without direction. Success will depend on all group members actively participating. Students will be expected to reflect and trouble shoot when things don’t work as planned. As such, an interest in learning new things and good problem solving skills will be beneficial. This will be a fast-paced work environment as we will be progressing quickly through concepts to complete the robot mission by Presentation Night.
