Fitness Fun will consist of having fun while getting fit. I will show them fun ways to get their bodies moving, as well as teach them simple no-cook recipes for healthy snacks they can easily make on their own. They will learn exercises that will increase their balance, coordination, muscle strength, and flexibility. It will include things like yoga poses and stretches; parkour jumping, vaulting and rolling; circuit training with jump roping challenges; track and field challenges; strength training without equipment; and lots more. I also plan to purchase good quality jump ropes that they will get to keep at the end of the semester.
Class Requirements: Sports attire and athletic shoes worn to each class period.
