Class Description
Learn the states by region, surrounding oceans, bordering countries, and Great Lakes. As time allows we will cover major landmarks as well. There will be many opportunities to earn candy.
Students will be coloring and labeling their own maps, putting together a puzzle, reviewing facts, and doing timed competitions to win candy.
NOTE: This class is similar to the previous semester and is not a continuation. If your child(ren) excelled last semester, attending again this semester will feel too repetitive.
Class Requirements: Able to read, have a good attitude, be willing to participate, and have a competitive desire to win candy. Remembering to review maps at home during the week will be to their own benefit.
Materials Needed: 3-ring binder, colored pencils, regular/mechanical pencils.
