Class Description
This class is based on events described in the book “Little House in the Big Woods” by Laura Ingalls Wilder. We will learn about and experience some of the activities and events that filled the lives of Laura and her family as they lived in the Big Woods of Wisconsin.
Join us as we learn about:
Trapping and the fur trade
Food Preservation techniques
Traditional folk music and dancing
and other fun and interesting aspects of pioneer life!
