Class Description
This 8 week course contains the following: why we fish, fish of Michigan, rods and reels, invasive species, fly fishing, fly tying, sportsmanship, DNR, laws of fishing, ice fishing, boat safety, knot tying, worms, rig a pole, terminal tackle, fisherman code, hold and play a fish, drugs, tackle box, spin casting, Michigan Man dvd.
Requirements: Open to students who will be 9 years old or older by January 18, 2019. Everyone is required to have fun learning the basics of fishing, come to class with or without skills of fishing, learn a fun activity that can be used with the family.
