Class Description
This fun hands-on class will teach basic outdoor and survival skills. We will learn knot tying, basic survival first aid, staying safe outdoors, fire safety, map reading, edible plants, tracking animals and outdoor shelters. We will also be learning about camp cooking and how to prepare simple meals outdoors. By the end of the semester each participant will have a take-home binder for reference.

Materials Needed: Pencil, markers/crayons, scissors. Other needed materials will be provided through class fee.

*Due to the need to provide adequate supervision for our entire program, classes registering fewer than 5 students at sign-up may be canceled in order to allow for appropriate coverage.
