Class Description
We will be taking turns reading the book “Carry On, Mr. Bowditch” outloud during class time. At the end of class there will be a time for discussion.
This class is intended to help students become more comfortable reading outloud in a group setting. It also can prepare them for audio book recording and giving speeches in public.
Class Requirements:
No age limit as long as the book is within the students comfortable reading level.
This class is not intended to teach students to read, rather it is intended to develop outloud reading skills and comfort.
Materials Needed: Each student is required to obtain their own copy of the book, this can be new or used. I would recommend purchasing it online and not borrowing from the library. You can find it used on eBay or other online retailers.
