Class Description
Leaning about maps in various ways such as “Me on the Map” (based on the book by Joan Sweeney), Learning how to read basic maps and learning about basic map skills.
Class Requirements: Students should be able to write independently (fill in blanks and answer basic questions) or at the very least be able to do copy work quickly and be able to follow directions. (After all – reading maps requires following directions!)
Materials Needed: Basic School supplies such as scissors, pencils, crayons and glue sticks
