Class Description
Focusing on the basics of floral arranging, this class will encourage hands-on interest into working with flowers and floral materials. Each week we will work with flowers that have a special meaning, to create personal posies, bouquets and arrangements that will have a purpose. This class will strongly emphasize the need to pay attention to the needs of those around us, and others that may need encouragement. Though we will be making bouquets to take home each week, it will be encouraged to think outside of ourselves and share some extra flowers with a loved one. Towards the end of the class semester, we will be finding a way to minister to someone in need of encouragement, and create a group-made arrangement to bring joy to that individual.
