Class Description
We will study various aspects of birds- what makes a bird, anatomy, adaptations, etc while also learning to identify some common species in Michigan by sight and sound. We will have some hands on activities as well including dissection of owl pellets, crafts, conservation activities, and possibly the dissection of a chicken. A coordinating trip to Kellogg Bird Sanctuary or other bird watching sites to follow!
