Class Description
Based on the book, “Incredible Edible Science” by Liz Plaster and Rick Krustchinsky, we will be using food based activities to encourage curiosity and develop our investigative natures. We will develop the six basic science process skills- classifying, communicating, measuring, inferring, and predicting. Sometimes we will get to eat our activity!
Class Requirements: Bring your curiosity! The child should show a willingness to learn and try new things. This class is best suited for younger students in the 5-7 age range.
Materials Needed: To save on costs, you may be asked to bring simple, everyday items from home for an experiment over the course of the semester. However, most items will be covered by the class fee.
