Class Description
This is a high school credit worthy Anatomy and Physiology course. It is designed with the purpose of giving kids more direct instruction while also shouldering the work of grading for the parent.
This is a TWO semester class…and, since we can’t finish the whole course over both Agape semesters, we will have optional biweekly meetings scheduled when Agape is not in session to cover the remaining modules.
There will NOT be a lab portion to this class (unless by chance someone volunteers to field dress a deer for us during hunting season:).
We are excited to make this an engaging, helpful, fun, and educational experience! Come join in on the fun!
Class Requirements: Apologia recommends taking Biology and Chemistry before this course; however, we trust that kids who are dedicated to this class will be more than able to succeed even if they have not met those prerequisites.
Materials Needed: TEXTBOOK: Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Advanced Biology 2nd Edition The Human Body by Shannon and Yunis
*This exact textbook is required. Please reach out to Andrea or Ruth if you have any questions. Used books are available for a much lower price online. The other books that Apologia sells with the textbook are not required.*
